Vegetarian Cookery School
If you thought Grenadian Oil Down, Trinidadian Doubles and Jamaican Jerk sounded more like sports than food, this is your chance to be proven wrong!
Join us for an evening of vegetarian Caribbean cuisine with one of Somerset’s brightest foodie stars, Emma Grazette. Emma has long been making waves with her rustic and spice-focussed approach to cooking, first as the head development chef at The Spicery but more recently as a presenter of The Spice Trip on More4.
For one evening only, she’ll be at the Vegetarian Cookery School to teach her tips and techniques to make the bold and punchy dishes for which Caribbean food is known. From curries, marinades and chutneys to fry breads and dumplings, the workshop will open your eyes to this exciting culinary region and will leave you with lots of new recipes to try at home.
£45 includes all ingredients and equipment. At the end of the workshop we sit down to share a wonderful Caribbean supper, served with organic wine or juice. It’s a great way to spend an evening with friends – or possibly to meet new ones!
