If you are looking for things to do in Bath and your visit co-insides with the rugby season you must go and see Bath Rugby play!
Bath Rugby was established in 1865 which makes it one of the oldest rugby clubs in the world. Bath rugby is one of the most exciting teams to watch in the ‘Aviva Premiership’ and certainly won’t disappoint.
The Bath rugby ground which is called ‘The Rec’ can be found a stones throws away from Pulteney Bridge (See the interactive map below) and is a must see. Watch from the stands as Bath Rugby put on one hell of a show for all the fans.
To watch Bath Rugby play is really not the expensive as ticket prices start from around £10.00, which can be purchased online or from the ticket office found along the River Avon side of ‘The Rec’. Food and drink within the stadium is also very responsibly priced, and being within walking distance from the main city centre it’s the ideal thing to do if you are staying within the city.
Top tip: If you are going to watch the mighty blues play at ‘The Rec’ be prepared! A lot of the stands that are available to non season ticket holders are not covered. So, make sure you take a water proof jacket if it looks like rain, and wrap up warm in the winter games as the stands do get really cold!
